Found Job! Will Travel!

Well, I am among the employed again! This comes as a great relief and I am so excited about this new opportunity. My job will be to drive this van from place to place and connect with individuals that need benefit services- things like taxes, childcare, medical and other benefits.
.
I want to thank everyone who sent leads about jobs, treated to lunch in order to get me out of the house and gave opportunities to earn a little cash during this time. Each of these acts of kindness were not unnoticed. I know I am surrounded by friends and those who love me.
.
We will be living on less during this next phase in life and I am encouraged that we can do so.
Road trip anyone? Just kidding-- this van is for official purposes only. :-)

That's wonderful news! I hope you never have to parallel park that thing.

Enjoy your new job Girlfriend, can't wait to hear all about it.

It doesn't sound like a glorified van driver to me. Sounds more like a traveling first-aid medic for injured lives, bringing information and hope to those at a loss for answers. You'll be great at it, Erin!

I think we all want to know what's inside that thing!

No windows and a satellite dish on the roof? The mind wonders and wanders!

Scott, I hope so-- there are many people I will come into contact with-- it will be good for my spirit.

Alison- I do think I will need to parallel park. I am going to stay positive and believe the vehicle will work with me rather than against me.

Tiffany-- I am a road trip kind of girl! I love adventures-- so who knows?

Jim-- you are too kind! You make me sound good!

Frank,
It is really, really cool inside-well designed and made to travel. It has an awning so counselors can greet clients outside the van too. We have tables and chairs, laptops galore! Good stuff.
